What surprised us the most in this shelter? The management of “Best Friends” shelter managed in a short time to do an extraordinary thing: to rebuild and fully restore the shelter. Now everything here is neat, clean, the animals are well-groomed, in good condition and mood, they are socialized.

We saw a wonderful cat house with cats, which were taken out of the combat zone. There is a room where animals live, and an enclosure — a kind of “kindergarten” for cats, where they play, breathe fresh air, warm themselves in the sun. We were amazed at how good the management of the shelter is.

The big problem was the lack of heating. The management of the shelter was worried about how the cats would be able to overwinter. House of Animals on the spot, without hesitation, decided that they would finance the heating system for Best Friend. We, UPAW, as managers received funds, organized this project, monitored its implementation and … recently received a report that the heating system was installed!

We are extremely pleased to have implemented this project and we are grateful to House of Animals for their support. Now cats will live not only in comfort and coziness, but also in warmth.
