UPAW (Ukrainian Pet Association Worldwide) is the first community in Ukraine that implements innovative management in the field of animal welfare.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have launched the "Tailed Hostages of War" project, within the framework of which we provide humanitarian aid to pet parents, caregivers, volunteers, and shelters in areas close to hostilities.

Areas of activity of UPAW:

• we implement our own innovative projects aimed at animal welfare in Ukraine;
• we help organizations, shelters, and veterinary clinics to work more efficiently and implement innovative projects;
• we develop and implement high-quality educational programs for training and advanced training of veterinarians for high-quality medical support and animal welfare in Ukraine;
• we develop and lobby for the adoption of effective laws and regulations at the state level;
• we advise local authorities on the practice of animals treatment and cooperation with veterinary clinics;
• we engage Ukrainian and international donors in order to achieve animal welfare and improve the quality of veterinary services in Ukraine.
